Earlier this year, AdvoCATS took delivery of a heavily discounted #AdvoCATSpurple pop-up gazebo from Bulhawk, as part of their #payitforward programme of supporting charitable organisations, and this weekend it had its first outing – and BOY were we glad of it! Long Eaton (where we’re based) holds an annual carnival, the weather is typically inclement, and sure enough, within about 5 minutes of our popping it up, the rain came down! It didn’t dampen (see what we did there?) anybody’s spirits though, and a good, if somewhat soggy, time was had by all. Local MP Maggie Throup, who’s supported AdvoCATS since the very beginning, also popped by to say hello, and co-founder Jen did an interview with Talk Radio’s Peter Cardwell – “live from a field in Long Eaton…!!”
As well as local casework and national campaigning, AdvoCATS is keen to spread the message of what we can do, what the law is now, what it’s likely to be and general.
